The ISO-S-FPA insulating tube is used in accordance with the new DIN EN 60445 (VDE 0197) guideline for insulating shielding wires for functional potential bonding. This ensures that no electrically conductive contact can be made with other live parts (short circuit!) and that functional grounds are detected immediately.
