The sewn-in, fine-meshed stainless steel braiding conducts the alternating electric field (low-frequency components of the mains supply, high-frequency components of electronic power supply units) to the protective earth of the electrical installation. Any heat generated by the power supply units is dissipated to the outside through punched holes in the braiding and leather. Due to the elongated design, socket strips with inserted power supply units in the shielding sleeve can also be used. The installation is done by laying it on the desk top (see pictures), by inserting it into cable ducts or also by screwing it on (with the help of the mounting kit 41-4988 and a Danell system strip) under the desk top. Further parts of the MSDS system are required for commissioning the shielding sleeve.
